Presentation in German on current topics in consumer protection

Andrea Magdolna Nagy, our practice leader, held a presentation in an Advantage Austria event organised by the Austrian Embassy about the most pressing issues of consumer protection in Hungary on 13 October 2020. Andrea’s presentation was a practice-oriented discussion of unfair commercial practices, such as misleading advertisements, and the rules of the bracketed mandatory guarantee regime that will take effect next year, including useful information on potential exposures to the imposition of fines in audits and the actions that companies will have to take in order to ensure compliance with the new rules.
